Detailed Itinerary

Day 1:Transfer from  Kigali Cyanika/ Katuna border to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

After breakfast, you will begin your 2 days gorilla trek Uganda . Your pick up will be  at hotel in Kigali capital of Rwanda and embark on a short city tour. With a local guide, pay a visit to the Kigali genocide site and other significant sites within the reach of Kigali capital. After, begin your 4-5 hours’ drive road trip, navigating via Katuna or Cyanika border. This trip is special in the sense that you have a chance to experience the breathtaking landscapes from both Uganda and Rwanda. Meal Plan: Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner.

On your 2nd day of your 2 days gorilla trek Uganda , join other visitors for morning orientation about gorilla trekking safety measures. The briefing exercise will be performed by Bwindi National Park official who also will allocate gorilla groups for you to explore. Each gorilla family is visited by maximum of 8 (eight) guests on a single day and the actual trekking begins at 8:00am.

The long day search for the rare mountain gorillas takes between 2 and 6 hours. This covers a special one-hour for you to take pictures and observe the daily behaviors of these unique apes. Get back and pick up your gorilla trekking certificate, continue to the lodge to have then check out.
