Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival & pick up at the airport in Kenya

Today is dedicated mainly for your arrival and pick up by our company representative in Kenya. Meet and greet one of our experts, then set off from the Jomo Kenyatta Airport to the nearest hotel within Nairobi city. Check in at the hotel in Nairobi capital for relaxation, dinner and a night stay.

Day 2: Explore the Giraffe Centre and Elephant Orphanage, drive to Lake Nairobi

Enjoy a hefty breakfast and after, you will set off from Nairobi capital to visit the Giraffe Centre an excellent spot where Rothschild giraffes are inhabited. The giraffe centre is accessible within 20km off from the heart of Nairobi. Get there early morning, the best time to witness and exploring these unique mammal species.

From the Giraffe Centre, head off to Daphne Sheldrick Centre where rescued elephants can be spotted. Get to see some of elephant calves while they are fed and or when playing. From the elephant orphanage, continue to Karen Blixen Museum, the place that previously served as home to Karen from 1917 up to 1931. This site became popular following the Out of Africa film and entirely, it offers abundant knowledge about the colonial life in Kenya.

Settle for lunch at the scenic Karen Blixen Coffee Gardens. After, proceed up to the next destination which is Lake Nakuru National Park.

Day 3: Explore Lake Nakuru wonders

It is your day to depart your lodge for a full wildlife excursion in Lake Nakuru National Park. Lake Nakuru NP is endowed with diversity of animals including the cape buffaloes, waterbucks, leopards, zebras, spotted hyenas, gazelles, impalas, baboons, and Rothschild giraffes. Around Lake Nakuru, spot several of flamingos and other birds and you will return to the lodge for relaxation in the evening.

Day 4: Depart from Lake Nakuru Park to Masai Mara

After a hefty breakfast, join others prepared to set off from Lake Nakuru National Park to Maasai Mara National Reserve. Today’s road trip involves navigating via the countryside breathtaking rift valley area. On arrival at Maasai Mara, get to the lodge for relaxation and also enjoy lunch. Late in the afternoon, go game viewing marking your first wilderness experience in this reserve.

Day 5: Full day Safari in Maasai Mara

After breakfast, set off for a full day safari in Masai Mara and today, you will go with a pack of food. Masai Mara’s must see faunal species include wildebeests, cape buffaloes, lions, elephants, rhinos, and many antelope families. In the afternoon, settle under one of the tree shades to have your bush meal before you proceed with the next session.
