6-Day Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti & Ngorongoro Luxury Lodge Safari

This 6-day / 5-night safari is designed to explore the famous Northern Tanzania National Parks while staying in comfortable mid-range lodge and tented camp accommodation. During this unforgettable safari, you will visit Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Serengeti National Park, and the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater. Each park offers a unique ecosystem and excellent opportunities to see a wide variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, and many bird species. Airport pick-up and drop-off transfers are included in the package. Arrival Day: Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) – Arusha Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (flight details to be advised), you will be met by our representative and transferred to Arusha for overnight stay at Arusha Serena Hotel (BB).

Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast at 08:30 hrs, depart from Arusha with packed lunch boxes and drive to Tarangire National Park, located about 118 km from Arusha.

Tarangire is Tanzania’s third-largest national park and is famous for its large herds of elephants and giant baobab trees. The park is also home to more than 550 bird species, making it an excellent destination for bird watching in Tanzania.

The Tarangire River, which flows throughout the year, attracts many animals such as lions, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, and antelopes. Lunch will be served at a designated picnic site inside the park.

After an exciting game drive, continue to Maramboi Tented Lodge for dinner and overnight stay on full board basis (FB).

Day 2: Tarangire – Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park, located along the floor of the Great Rift Valley. Enjoy a game drive in this beautiful park, which is famous for its lush groundwater forest, tree-climbing lions, and large numbers of flamingos during the wet season.

Lake Manyara National Park covers approximately 330 sq km, with nearly two-thirds of the park covered by the alkaline soda lake when water levels are high. The park is also an excellent place for bird watching and wildlife viewing.

You will also visit the Maasai Boma at Kwa Paulo for a cultural experience and interaction with the Maasai community.

Later in the afternoon, drive to Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight stay on full board basis (FB).

Day 3: Lake Manyara – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, enjoy several stopovers, including the Ngorongoro Crater viewpoint and Olduvai Gorge, one of the world’s most important archaeological sites.

After crossing Naabi Hill Gate, lunch will be served at the picnic site, followed by a game drive en route to Central Serengeti.

Serengeti National Park is one of Africa’s most famous wildlife destinations, known for its endless plains and incredible wildlife populations, including the Great Migration.

Arrive at Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay on full board basis (FB).

Day 4: Full Day Serengeti National Park

Enjoy an early morning sunrise game drive in Serengeti National Park, one of the best times to see predators in action. Return to the camp for brunch and some relaxation.

Later, continue with a full-day game drive across the vast plains of Serengeti in search of lions, cheetahs, elephants, leopards, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, and many other animals.

All meals and overnight stay at Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge on full board basis (FB).

Day 5: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, enjoy another morning game drive in Serengeti National Park. Return to the lodge for a hot lunch before departing for Ngorongoro Conservation Area with game viewing along the way.

Ngorongoro is well known for its beautiful landscapes and abundant wildlife. Arrive at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay on full board basis (FB).

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Arusha

After breakfast, descend approximately 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day crater tour with picnic lunch.

The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the best wildlife viewing areas in Africa and is home to a large concentration of animals, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, hyenas, hippos, ostriches, and many bird species. With luck, you may also spot the rare black rhino.

After the tour, drive back to Arusha at a relaxed pace and drop off at Arusha Serena Hotel on bed and breakfast basis (BB).

Departure: Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO)

After breakfast and leisure time at the hotel, transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your outbound flight (flight details to be advised).
